Florida Gun Exchange ...............Part 2

So While I was down there I made a trip to my Favorite spot.

The running Joke was everybody that came through the door.......The 20th has come and gone and SURPRISE!!! WE ARE STILL HERE......WE DIDNT GO UP IN A CLOUD OF SMOKE.

Funny, But somber to say to least.

Well while scurrying about I got the chance to talk with one of Senior Staff I told him that I blog for a very big online community and wanted to snap a few pics to tell everyone how much of a pleasure it is to come here and how Knowlegeable and helpful the staff are.

WELL HOT DAM I HIT THE MOTHERLOAD .........he was more than receptive and allowed me to play with some of the best toys they had in the house!!!

I got a chance to hold a 9000$ 50 Cal Sniper Rifle and 1700 Barretta with a class 3 suppressor on it( I had to clean my self up serval times while there)

Who knew being a memeber of GIM guarntees you a VIP seat at the Gun Store???

I need to check them out sometime. They have one of the bigger booths at the gun show here in WPB if I remember correctly.

I was going to buy a bersa thunder 380 CC from them, but found a small family run booth that had a bersa thunder 45 UC , so I grabbed that instead. Love ma' .45!

Do you remember hte prices on the AK's? I need to go check em out, NO ONE has Ak's down here, NO ONE, they are all sold before they even hit the shelves and back orders are insane.

When they come to the WPB fun show they have huge tables. The waiting line for paperwork is usually 3 deep. They ride up and down the space between the tables on those funny scooters.

Like I said in part I. Done some business with them.

Scooters = Segways  (and they are funny, as in goofy...)

Also I always seem to set off the alarm while fingering the merchandise...

Bought my G33 from them...they gave me top dollar for a slightly used Khar PM9.

Btw, those HK's look sooo good.....I need one bad...

Awesome pics! Never seen a Sig 556 with a smooth forearm like that...man talk about spending some $$ with no problem! I bet you enjoyed the sunshine and warmth. I know I did when I was at SHOT show.

Got to love seeing ammo by the pallet load in the middle of the store. Place I go to does the same thing. 7.62x51, 7.62x39, and .223 they don't even shelf stock anymore. Forklift the pallet in the middle of store and pull the shrink-wrap off.....

People were walking out carrying bushmasters putting them in back seats like nothing (big no no up in New Germany).

I told one of the staff it really was a dam shame I arrived so late to the party. Some of the coolest people I have met own firearms (I spoke at lenght with a Doctor and it looked like a shooting buddy in the making) It is such a sad state of affairs what is looming. He agreed and I picked up a box of the good stuff to make myself feel better.:ok:

Yup ..........he made mention that those pallets were quite high when brought in and people have been nibbeling on them constantly.

That stuff moves very quickly.

Range Safety Zone is right around 4 miles per USMC testing

That shop is like an oasis in the desert - they even have Pmags in the first photo. The fact that just about every gun shop across the country is bare says that there is something wrong there - either the local population is very well stocked or nobody in that area cares or their prices are too high. Some of them looked that way to me but then all prices always look to high to me.

Its a combination of all. While its in Florida(good gun state) its in a very liberal, retiree area of florida. Their prices are, I'm sure high, like everyone elses, but they also probably have some good connections.

They have more than a couple Ak's I saw, which every gun store and its mother around here is having trouble getting, so somethings up with them.

CyberGold 01-29-2009 07:22 AM

Re: Florida Gun Exchange ...............Part 2

Yeah, they got connections to have supply like that in time like these -

I remember back in the 70's, down in Miami, the cops busted a Cuban with a AA gun in a semi trailer and busted a woman for shooing a subgun in her resedential front yard, drunk as a skunk, celebrating some Cuban holiday.

Re: Florida Gun Exchange ...............Part 2

They have NIB Glocks under 500 at a time when EVERY online retailer has them on backorder 6-8 months or charging 600 or better.

I agree on the prices........ the only area I didnt get a picture of was the back stock room...... but I did catch a glimpse of it I know what Glock Boxes look like and then had them from the floor to the rafters.

How?? I will never know.

Well while you are still in a giving mood  I'll join up with you and you can charge me a simple AK. I'm not fussy...

On Florida Exchange...they buy a whole shitload when they order. Never met a shop that buys so much at one time. Talking with them last time the bald guy commented that they would buy 500 Glocks at a time. Big time they are, and they make mucho $$ in that store.

Which would explain why I saw a glimpse of the back room ....... they had them stacked from the floor to the rafters.

Smart Dealers......VERY SMART.

Not a problem with a AK.....I will throw in another one so you have a back up :ok:

Re: Florida Gun Exchange ...............Part 2

I was just talking with FGE over the phone today seeing if they had any Nagants in stock. He said they are bone dry theses puppies are moving quick now.

I then proceeded to make small talk with Mr. Zane how are things he said and I quote; SHYT IS MOVING AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT ..........THE STAFF IS STARTING TO HORDE AMMO AND GUNS NOW. ANYTHING THAT IS EVEN SEEN AS TACTITCAL (EBR, ploymer stocks, high caps 870's etc) THEY CANNOT NOT KEEP IT IN STOCK. IT HAS NEVER BEEN LIKE THIS.

I lamented it seems like our greatest fears are coming to the forefront I told him about why I wanted Nagants (arming neighbors) and he FULLY agreed with my line of thinking he stressed to me in no uncertain terms GET AMMO AND LOTS OF IT ......GET WHAT YOU CAN FIND AND PAY ANY PRICE FOR IT. THE TAX INCREASES ARE A DONE DEAL.

Sisters and Brothers...........take it serious, please.
